About

OfflineDock started as a shared note between three friends who kept losing progress on the train when the tunnel killed their connection. We wanted a place that only talks about games you can open in airplane mode and still enjoy for an hour.

We play everything before we write about it. Nobody on the team publishes a review off a trailer or a press kit — someone actually installs the thing, plays until it either clicks or falls apart, and takes notes along the way.

Games get picked for a simple reason: they need to work without internet and be worth the storage. We favour titles with real single-player depth, honest pacing, and controls that suit a touchscreen. Genre doesn't matter much — a good card game and a good racer both earn a spot.

We're a small independent group, not a studio and not a store. There's no checkout button here, and we don't sell copies of anything. We just write about what we've been playing on the couch and in waiting rooms.
